Fuel Surcharge Table (Prices per gallon) The fuel surcharge is to be based on the U.S Gulf Coast Index for the spot price per gallon of kerosene-type jet fuel. The Fuel surcharge will vary in 0.5% steps and will be updated on a monthly basis according to the scale above. Note: It should be noted that there will be a lag in the application of the index. That is, the monthly average price for fuel in Feb will be used to determine the applicable surcharge in April. This is due to the release dates of the data. Please regularly check this web site for any updates or changes. We reserve the right to change the fuel surcharge index and table without notice. Both amount and duration of the fuel surcharge will be determined at DHL's sole discretion.
