General information for students

Whether you apply for an internship in our Job Center or want to join one of our programs (MBA, AIESEC) or student competitions (Case Study Competition, ProLog Award) - there are some basic requirements: You are majoring in an economic subject (economics, business management, industrial engineering, etc.), have completed the first part of your degree and want to apply your theoretical knowledge hands-on in the everyday working environment of a major corporation. We also welcome students of other subjects looking for a job in the logistics, financial or mail business. Ideally, you have already deepened your interests through a successful apprenticeship, internships or foreign experience.

During the three-to-six-month period that you will spend at DHL, you will gain insight into multi-faceted areas of activity by working on a project in your area of interest.

An internship can be the first step toward a career at DHL, and an important contribution to your professional and personal development. We offer you an opportunity to gain first-hand experience in the exciting day-to-day business environment of one of the world's major logistics groups. You will not only gain extensive experience in very different fields, but will also get a better idea of your own strengths and goals - a key precondition for your next career moves.

Students who excel during their internships will also be introduced to our Keep in Contact program (KIC). This will give them a direct line to job openings within DHL and Deutsche Post World Net, and a quick overview of new business developments.

DHL compensates its interns appropriately. The internship gives you a bit of pocket money. However, the experience you gain for your future professional life is priceless!
